How to Copy Social Post URLs

Facebook

• The globe icon next to the timestamp indicates the post is Public

• There are two methods to copy the post URL
• Method 1 copies the URL from the address bar
  
  1. Navigate to the individual post
  2. Copy the URL from the address bar at the top of the browser
  3. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)

• Method 2 copies the URL from the timestamp
  1. Hover over the timestamp of the post
  2. Right-click on the timestamp
  3. Click the Copy link address option
  4. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)

X (formerly Twitter)

• The padlock next to the display indicates the post is Private

• There are two methods to copy the post URL
• Method 1 copies the URL from the address bar
  1. Navigate to the individual post
  2. Copy the URL from the address bar at the top of the browser
  3. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)

• Method 2 copies the URL from the share icon
  
  1. Click on the share icon under the post
     
  2. Select the Copy link address option
     
     
     
  3. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)

Instagram

• To check if the post is Private or Public
  
  1. Copy the post URL
     
  2. Open an incognito tab or log out of Instagram
  3. Paste the URL. If it leads to Page is not found, it is Private
     
• There are two methods to copy the post URL
• Method 1 copies the URL from the address bar
  1. Navigate to the individual post
  2. Copy the URL from the address bar at the top of the browser
  3. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)

• Method 2 copies the URL from the post menu
  
  1. Click on the 3 dots icon in the top right of the post
     
     
  2. Click the Copy link option
     
  3. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)

TikTok

• To check if the post is Private or Public
  
  1. Copy the post URL
     
  2. Open an incognito tab or log out of TikTok
  3. Paste the URL. If it leads to This account is private, it is Private
     
     
• There are three methods to copy the post URL

  1. Navigate to the individual post

  1. Under the caption, there is a share link
  2. Click Copy link

• Method 3 copies the URL from the video
  
  1. Right-click on the video
  2. Select the Copy link option
  3. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)
