Introducing Nova’s New Event Post Format

Event Post format in Nova UI allows you to effortlessly transform a Facebook Event post into a social display ad for the open web all in just a few clicks!

 

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1 - Add a New Creative

  • Click on Add Display Creative in the Nova UI and paste the Facebook Event URL in Social Post Import Field. 

  • Select Event as the Format Type to enable the event-specific fields.

 

Step 2 - Nova automatically pulls in the event details, including:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Date & Time
    Location
  • Host Profile Name
  • Caption
  • Social Page 
  • Social engagement icons
  • Advertiser details 

 

Step 3 - Review & Edit Details

  • Review the auto-populated fields and make any necessary adjustments.

  • Fields in the Event creative include:

    • Caption (Optional) - Additional text to highlight the event.

    • Title (Required) - The main event title.

    • Description - A summary or details about the event.

    • Date - Date and time of the event.

    • Location - Venue details.

    • Host Profile Name - The name or brand hosting the event.

Step 4 - Preview & Launch

  • Preview your creative.

  • When everything's finalized and looks great, click Save and proceed to launch your event ad!

The image specifications for Event posts are consistent with those used for social display image creatives, as only a single image needs to be updated.

  • Supported file type: jpg, png, or gif (static or animated)
  • Width: min 500px, max 1,222px
  • Height: min 262px, max 640px
  • File size max: 2 MB
