      Caption and CTA Button Character Counts for all ad sizes

      This article provides information on the character limit that triggers the "See more" option in the Caption, CTA Button, Link Title, and Link Description sections of a creative.

      Caption Character Count

      • Flex size
        • Maximum 300 characters before "See More..". After clicking on "See More" the caption can show a maximum of 1500 characters in Total.



      • 300x250 size
        • Maximum 84 characters shown (regardless of crop feature being used or not)



      • 336x280 size
        •  Maximum 99 characters shown



      • 300x600 size
        • Maximum 255 characters shown 



      • 320x480 size
        • Maximum 94 Characters if crop feature is not used

        • Maximum 224 characters before "See More" if crop feature is used





      CTA Button Character Count

      • Flex size
        •  Up to 73 characters are supported 

      We highly recommend keeping CTA text within 52 characters maximum given that most sites do not have more than 300px width to allow full visibility. In such cases, it will be truncated to 52 characters.



      • 300x250 size
        • Maximum 34 characters (regardless of crop)



      • 336x280 size
        • Maximum 39 characters


      • 300x600 size
        • Maximum 33 characters are supported



      • 320x480 size
        • Maximum 37 characters (regardless of crop)



       

      Link Title Character Count

      Scenario 1: When adding both a Link Title and a Description, the following scenarios apply:

       

      • Flex Size
        • Link Title supports up to 43 characters

      We highly recommend keeping Link Title text within 29 characters maximum given most sites do not have more than 300px width to allow full visibility. In such cases, it will be truncated to 29 characters.

       

      • 300x600 Size
        • Link title supports up to 31 characters

      Scenario 2: When only Link Title is added, the following scenarios apply:

       

      • Flex Size
        • Link Title supports up to 81 characters



      We highly recommend keeping Link Title text within 52 characters maximum given most sites do not have more than 300px width to allow full visibility. In such cases, it will be truncated to 52 characters.

       

      • 300x600 Size
        • Link Title supports up to 64 characters



      • 320x480 Size - Link Title is not visible for this dimension
      • 300X250 Size - Link Title is not visible for this dimension
      • 336x280 Size - Link Title is not visible for this dimension

       

       

      Link Description Character Count

       

      • Flex Size
        • Link description supports up to 51 characters
